Learning Edge -Centre of Autism and Early Intervention is run under Autism Welfare Trust which is a public trust created under J & K Trust Act of 1920. The Trust is created for working towards providing the best care and support for Autism affected children. It is a non-profit organisation dedicated for creating network of service organisations which will help in supporting the children of all strata of society irrespective of their socio-economic status in the Kashmir valley. Learning Edge -Centre of Autism and Early Intervention is the first step towards achieving the same goal.
In order to provide all the best possible facilities, there is a strong need to maintain the proper staffing requirements in order to meet the proper demand of child therapist ratios. The support staff and helpers form the basis requirement for affected children, as they are full time support system for the kids and need to be well trained and informed.
In order to provide the best facilities, the institute will try to ensure maintain child therapist ratio of maximum 4:1. For support staff the ratio to be maintained will be 3(child): 1 (support staff).

Learning Edge -Centre of Autism and Early Intervention offers the best of services that are required to correctly address various early interventional needs of the kids suffering from Autism. All the best possible therapies and tools have been deployed to provide the kids with all possible support. Special care has been taken for providing individual care with best therapist-child ratio. Besides this the support staff for regular help has been employed in the ratio of 3:1 (helper: child) ratio, which is best in class for special kids. Provision for various therapies has been made using the best of the tools, machines and qualified staff.
Special focus on Learning life and social skills is being given so that the kids can live their life in mainstream. Besides the important therapies provided in the day care, special OPD sessions are arranged for extra requirements.
The Centre is well monitored with CCTV facility, and provides Day care boarding facilities, with option of transportation for all.
